Version Options: Fully Networked System, ACS X-press, ACS Lite.
ACS X-press
This is a fully functional, single workstation license version of ACS. It is designed to be installed on a single workstation or laptop, rendering it portable for such needs as on-site radiation exposure data recording for emergency responders. ACS X-press utilizes the proven MSDE (Microsoft Desktop Engine) for its backend database and interfaces with all popular electronic dosimeters, as well as barcode scanners and numeric keypads. Once configured, ACS X-press can be quickly and easily setup to collect vital personnel exposure data on location.
ACS Lite
A scaled down version of ACS X-press. ACS Lite is a single workstation license version that does not require electronic dosimeters for data collection. Like ACS X-press, ACS Lite is installed on a single workstation or laptop and uses MSDE for its backend database. Users will log in manually and, when logging out, enter their exposure levels manually. Exposure levels may be recorded by such devices as PICs (pocket ion chambers).
Benefits
ACS will benefit any organization whose employees are routinely exposed to harmful levels of radiation. It can be easily configured to screen login attempts for unqualified personnel and personnel who have reached their exposure limit. This capability prevents potential mishaps and guards against individual over-exposure.
