Dr. Ronald Goans is a Senior Medical Consultant with MJW Corporation whose current emphasis is on medical consequence analysis and emergency preparedness planning for nuclear terrorism issues. Dr. Goans’ recent research describes mathematical modeling of lymphocyte kinetics and the time to emesis for early dose assessment after a nuclear terrorism event.
MJW has been retained by the NYCDOHMH to develop guidelines and protocols for assessing internal doses to a population involved in a disaster where a radiological dispersal device or a radiological weapon of mass destruction has been detonated.
In June of 2004 MJW was contracted by BBWI for a 15 month period to perform data validation of inorganic analysis data for the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory.
MJW has been retained by the SUNY Buffalo to provide technically support and planning for the decommissioning and potential reuse of the 2 MW research reactor facility located on the SUNY South Campus.
