Current Job Responsibilities Currently, Mr. Olsen is serving as a supervisory internal dose reconstructor for the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Dose Reconstruction Program. He provides health physics support, including technical basis document and procedure preparation, dose reconstruction and data analysis, to assist with dose reconstructions for claimants under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act. He also performs dose reconstruction research. Career Summary: Mr. Olsen has over 30 years of professional health physics experience. He has participated over a period of 2 years in the design and implementation of characterization, remediation, and final status surveys for a decommissioning nuclear power plant. He has also developed a technical basis manual framework for instrumentation at a DOE facility. He has performed programmatic and compliance-based independent assessments of a major DOE environmental restoration program and of a commercial nuclear power plant.
