The MJW Corporation has assembled one of the largest groups of expert internal dosimetrists in the country. Many of the dosimetrists in the group currently provide their expertise to the NIOSH Dose Reconstruction Project initiated in late 2002, as part of the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) team and their efforts to meet the needs of NIOSH under the EEOICPA law. For this project, the MJW Corporation internal dosimetry experts have conducted over 25,000 dose reconstructions. The project team was awarded a contract renewal in 2009 and will continue this work through mid-2013.  (Please visit www.cdc.gov/niosh/ocas for more details).  From 1997 through 2001 our dosimetrists completed over 1,500 dose reconstructions for the Mound Dose Assessment Project. MJW’s internal dosimetrists have been trained and educated by nationally and internationally recognized experts.

Our internal dosimetry experts have extensive experience with many programs used for assessment including IMBA, IREP, and the various codes maintained by the Radiation Shielding Information Center and commercially available codes such as MicroShield.
